Bees
A few weeks ago we set up some bee traps to catch Asian giant
hornets, and during this trip we checked the traps and found
that we caught 4 hornet queens! Catching queens during this
month (March) is very important because the queens are the ones
who start the hive, so catching a queen means one less hive. |

Trees
Using our trailer we moved almost all of our banana trees from
our old farm to the mountains this trip. We used the compost
that we have been accumulating to fertilize the banana trees. |
 |
|
Blossoms
In our mountain there are some
naturally growing Sakura trees, and they are beginning to whiten
and lose their petals, so I shot some photos of them. |
